Summary of the Role:

As an Operations Technician you will support the logistics and wholesale department through delivery of Maitri products and providing excellent customer service. This role will safely and securely deliver Maitri products to Maitri locations and wholesale locations throughout the state. This role will report to the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager. Transportation of products will take place via a company vehicle. This will create an opportunity where you will be exposed to multiple functions of the business.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure the safe and secure delivery of Maitri products via company delivery vehicle to both Maitri locations and wholesale locations
  • Deliver customer orders while providing excellent customer service
  • Assemble  customer orders
  • Support cross functional team needs
  • Maintaining compliance standards for all deliveries
  • Ensures safety practices are followed when operating company vehicle
  • Maintain vehicles to operational standard - insure vacuumed, washed, and other incidentals
  • Maintain fuel levels – at least ½ tank and assure that they are fueled for the next day
  • Must be able to understand road maps related to the state highways and roads
  • Utilize MJ and Leaf Logics programs to understand the delivery Manifest
  • Working on scaffolding and ladders as well as tight spaces low and off the floor
  • Maintaining a clean working environment
  • Aiding in additional processes and projects as needed

Qualifications: 

  • Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • High attention to detail and personal and professional accountability
  • High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
  • Comfortable working under constant video surveillance
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be 25 years of age or older (driving/insurance requirements)
  • Able to pass all background checks/fingerprinting as required by state cannabis agencies
  • Experience with MJ Freeway or any inventory management system
  • Experience in transportation management
  • Experience in delivering product into a retail environment
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office and Google workspaces

Physical and Environmental Requirements: 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

  • Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 75 pounds 
  • Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday 
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time 
  • Ability to work on scaffolding and ladders and in tight spaces
  • Work can be dirty/sticky and may leave you smelling like cannabis at the end of the day
  • Work will be in a warehouse setting: temperatures may vary from warm to cool
  • Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise.
