Summary of the Role:The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant inventory management processes, ensuring dispensary operations remain in full compliance with state regulations. This role oversees daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts, maintains inventory records, and supports leadership during routine state audits and inspections. The Inventory Control Manager also assists in maintaining accurate patient-facing menu information, including product availability and pricing, and is responsible for electronically processing vendor deliveries while ensuring all intake procedures comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management & Accuracy
- Maintain accurate inventory records across all operated dispensaries, including product quantities, descriptions, and representations on digital menus.
- Ensure all state inventory regulations are met and inventory accuracy is maintained at 100%.
- Support Dispensary Managers in maintaining proper inventory controls and best practices at each location.
Compliance & Audit Support
- Follow company processes, policies, and state compliance requirements related to inventory management.
- Monitor and review daily, weekly, and monthly inventory audits and process adjustments in Dutchie as needed.
- Assist with financial and regulatory inventory audit counts as required.
- Assist Dispensary General Managers in investigating and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
Inventory Systems & Process Improvement
- Develop and implement processes to streamline and improve dispensary-level inventory management practices.
- Ensure dispensaries maintain compliant documentation processes, including physical and electronic records of inventory counts.
- Collect and store Inventory Discrepancy and Reconciliation Logs in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Promotions & Menu Management
- Program, publish, and troubleshoot promotions, discounts, and sales in inventory systems as created by the Marketing Manager and approved by Retail leadership.
- Generate and maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory information on all patient-facing menus, both in-store and online.
Other Duties
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support efficient, compliant, and patient-focused operations.
Position Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Minimum of a high school education or equivalent college degree, preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment .
- Exceptional analytical skills and ability to prioritize in the face of multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication, people skills, and ability to build rapport.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software programs.
- Experience in inventory management and/or dispensary operations.
